This holiday home in Herefordshire offers more than 4 reception rooms spread across 2 beautiful buildings. Each of these come with their own individual charm and character and create the perfect environment for chit-chats, relaxing, or even a party.

The Main Lounge area comes with 2 squishy sofas and lounging armchairs. Library-style reception area comes with Ercol lounge and leather armchairs. There is also the Leather Lounge, which is perfect for pre-dinner cocktails, sports games, or films on the 50-inch Smart TV.  The Upper Upper Landing Reading Zone has Ercol armchairs and sheepskins for quiet reading or an afternoon tea.

This self-catering Hereford accommodation also offers 5 further smaller independent lounges with sofas as part of 5 of the bedrooms. 

Whether you want your stay to be catered or wish to take charge of it, the choice is yours! The fully-equipped 40-ft kitchen is every chef’s dream and is perfect for professional caterers as well. There is ample counter space for prep and serving and our catering partners would be more than happy to provide you with a bespoke menu depending on your taste and budget. The home cooks in the group can cook a delightful gourmet restaurant-quality meal with no difficulty. The kitchen also comes with a dishwasher, double sink, four electric ovens, and eight electric hobs, a combination microwave, a full-size double fridge/freezer, two bar fridges for drinks only and a kitchen island with 5 stools for perching or dining for little ones.

Enjoy your meals in the impressive double-height beamed dining hall that this house to rent near Hay on Wye has to offer. It can comfortably accommodate 20 for a sit-down meal or even more for a cocktail and canapé event.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The bedrooms include double-height ceilings, four-poster beds, seatings areas, and roll-top baths:

• 5 split level suites, with private lounges, king-sized beds plus a large single sofa bed (11)
• 3 king-size rooms in the main farmhouse (6)
• 1 double bedroom in the main farmhouse (2)

In total the house sleeps 19 adults on 9 king size beds plus one large single sofa bed, and the availability of single blow up mattresses which can sleep up to 5 children.

There is 1 sofa bed and 4 camp beds which can be made up in some of the bedrooms to sleep an additional 4 guests. Please note that the venue cannot sleep more than 19 adults.

To maximise your comfort, all bedrooms are made up with crisp white linen and warm wool throws. There are five large ensuite bathrooms with bath and separate shower, one smaller bathroom with claw foot tub and handheld shower plus a downstairs shower room with a double cubicle. All bathrooms provided with fluffy black towel sets and Farmers Welsh Lavender combination bottles of body wash/shampoo/handwash. This large accommodation near the Brecon Beacons comes with eight large bathrooms across the two accommodation spaces.

Entertainment

Wye House comes with lots of entertainment for guests of all interests. In summer, host an alfresco party in the landscaped garden with outdoor seating for over 20 guests. This is perfect for a BBQ with your loved ones. Relax in the 8-seater "Kirami" cedar-clad wood-fired hot tub with enchanting views of the Wye Valley (please request use of the hot tub prior to your stay). The undercover outdoor lounging area inside the timber-clad red brick upper barn will be a pleasant surprise with its cosy seating. This area features a gym and games room and also has garden games like swing ball, quoits, and darts. This space comes with festoon lights but it's not heated. Furthermore, you will love the firepit area with seating for many with charming views. This celebration venue in Herefordshire also comes with a children’s play area with a swing chair under the willow tree. You will also find outdoor play mats, a book library, a toy box and railway seater seating which makes this a child-friendly haven. There is an Aussie-style 'outback shack' under an ancient Mulberry tree that provides shade during the summer months and stunning views.
