Derby folk Festival

30th September - 2nd October 2022

The festival was first introduced in 2007, bring the best traditional music and art to Derby ever since 2007, expanding and diversifying the acts and shows every year!



6th - 7th August 2022

This 3-day cycling event is one of the largest cycling events in the UK. It attracts over 10,000 people daily and encourages cyclists to use classic bikes made in 1987 or earlier. The retro feel of the event will make anyone excited by the history and character of vintage bikes and it's surrounding culture.



TBA 2022

This horse racing show is unlike anything you've seen before - the jockey instead of a saddle sits in a sulky - a two-wheeled frame. Through the years Pikehall Harness Racing has become one of the Peak District's most famous attractions. There are two shows run annually, one in June and the other in July.

There are many hiking, walking, and cycling trails which start right from our pet-friendly accommodations. Moreover, you will be happy to know that there are superb local bars, pubs, and restaurants that serve delicious and fresh food using local produce.

Being the first national park in England, the nature lovers might get to see barn owls, foxes, woodpeckers, sparrows, hares, and horses in their natural habitat. It is also home to the Roaches rocks, a unique and fascinating rock formation overlooking the town of Leek. If you’re looking to stay nearby, Roaches Hall is located right by the Roaches providing you with an amazing view of the hills and valleys below.

Take full advantage of the garden space as many of our houses have BBQ areas where you can prepare a delicious meal and enjoy it with drinks and the company of the ones you love. You can also hire a hot tub in all properties (at a cost) from our partners and star-gaze or watch the sunset.

If you are staying in one of our pet-friendly accommodations, we will be more than happy to help you have the most memorable stay. The Alton Towers amusement park is only 30 minutes to an hour from many of our Party Houses and is a perfect day trip especially for the young ones and for those young at heart. There are also several museums in the area such as Bakewell Old House Museum, Eyam Plague Village Museum, Buxton Museum, Art Gallery, and National Trust Museum of Childhood.
