The largest dining room sits 24 in Chels Barn, but Toft Hall has a dining room for 20, and Toft Barn 14.

Please note we don't have a wedding license, but there are a number of local churches and options, and the Toft Estate has been used for lots of wonderful wedding receptions.

Also please note although a DJ is allowed inside a marquee until 23:00 hour, strictly no outdoor music/ bands are allowed once it goes dark. As we are based in the stunning Peak District we don't want to disturb the local wildlife and neighbours. We don't welcome live bands sorry.

If you take the full estate marquees are possible, but please note we do charge an extra guest day rate for guests invited over the 48 that it sleeps. For marquees we always recommend that the provider checks the land to make sure it is suitable for their activity, but one could roughly hold 100 guests, depending on the size. Marquees are only allowed on the garden of Toft Barn.

These Party Houses in Staffordshire are located on the Western edge of the Peak District and come with spacious private gardens offering terrific views of the local area (on a sunny bright blue sky day, you’ll even be able to see over the Chesire plains to the Welsh mountains). 

There are also 2 x five person installed hot tub in our beautiful garden area (1 in Toft Hall, 1 in Chels Barn).

Toft Hall

This house dates back to the 15th century and boasts quirky features such as wattle and daub and exposed beams. It is a grade II listed building filled with history and it was once even the home to the High Sheriff of Staffordshire, the Kings representative in the region.

This house consists of:

• Xbox Snug room perfect for kids
• 2 reception room, the main living room and a Music Room with a piano
  
• Private Gardens
• Games room with table tennis and table football
• 2 kitchens with granite table tops
• 10 bedrooms (5 doubles, 5 twins) and 6 bath/shower rooms
• Large dining room sitting 20 people
• A private garden where you’ll find a BBQ area with benches, and an outdoor table tennis table
  
• Hot Tub! From January 2023 we will have 2 x permanent hot tub installed for 5 guests each. Bookings in 2022 will need to hire out from a third party supplier (see below for more information).

Toft Barn

Toft Barn is a charming venue recently renovated but still maintaining its traditional characteristics such as its exposed wooden beams. Situated next to Toft Hall opposite Chels Barn, it has a wonderful garden overlooking the Chesire Plains, perfect for those summer BBQs. It has recently had a number of updates, with a new living room with comfy Chesterfield Sofas, as-well-as a new open plan kitchen and dining room.

This Party House in Staffordshire consists of:

• 6 bedrooms (2 doubles, 4 twins) and 5 bath/shower room, 1 of the bedrooms is on the ground floor
• Spacious reception room
• Open plan kitchen and dining room for 14 guests
• Modern fitted well-equipped kitchen
• BBQ area
• Wifi TV, DVD player, and a stereo

Chels Barn

This converted barn has a stunning living room with an impressive high ceiling with a chandelier and displayed wooden beams. All the doors inside are made up of oak while this Peak District venue also features luxurious flooring - stone, oak, and travertine. The entire house comes with central heating while there’s also floor heating in the main reception room so you and your loved ones can snuggle up on the cosy couches during cold evenings. Moreover, you’ll adore the views from this Party House in Staffordshire and its private gardens.

This Peak District Party House consists of:

• 6 bedrooms (2 triple, 2 doubles, 2 singles) and 4 shower/bathroom, 3 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor.
• Large well-lit reception room
• Large dining room to sit up to 24 guests
• Modern fitted kitchen

You can add Toft Nook to all of the properties above providing you with extra accommodation for 2 - 4 guests. Toft Nook is a pet-friendly accommodation and is also ideal for guests who desire some extra privacy or require a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. This detached stone barn also boasts high ceilings and under-floor heating to keep you comfy during your stay.

Toft Nook

This house consists of:

• A comfortable double bedroom on the ground floor.
  
• Cosy living room with a sofa bed
• TV and a DVD player
• Kitchen featuring a hob, sink, kettle, cooker, and fridge
• Well-fitted shower room

Please note that all the above properties will provide you with bed linen (except for cot linen as we find parents prefer bringing their own), towels, central heating, electricity and logs all included in the price. As this is a self-catering estate, we ask you to bring with you any and all consumables. Moreover, there are 3 great country pubs only under a 10 minutes’ drive of this pet-friendly accommodation where you can enjoy a delicious meal and drinks with your friends and family. Not only does the Peak District venue come with spectacular views which will leave you mesmerised, but it also serves as the perfect backdrop for photos. You’ll love exploring the scenic routes of the Peak District through hikes, walks or biking and there are also lots of activities which we can help to organise on and off-site.

Corporate Stays at Toft Estate

Thanks to the various ample spaces you can enjoy in this Estate, you'll find it to be a wonderful corporate event venue. Throughout the whole estate, you will find 4 reception rooms and 3 spacious dining rooms, all of which can be used as break out rooms for your team building or meeting activities! There are 36 separate beds, providing your guests with a wide variety of sleeping arrangements. Activities like gin, whiskey, beer tastings and cocktail making can be arranged on-site and so can more adventurous activities like archery, clay pigeon shooting, and abseiling. The spacious onsite gardens will provide you with plenty of space for your activities. With various accommodation, activity and meeting room options, we assure you that your conference, training event or meeting will be a huge success!

Hot Tub

Jump into a lovely warm bubbly hot tub in Toft Estates private garden! Starting 2023 we will have our own full time hot tub for 5 people at Toft Hall and one more at Chels Barn. For guests staying in 2022 there isn't one on-site but it is possible to rent out a hot tub from a third party supplier who can deliver for your stay. We can provide recommendations that know our houses and provide competitive prices, please note Party Houses charges an extra £40 for Hot Tubs used on our site during 2022.

Please note: If there is a guest staying the night before, the time to drain, re-fill and re-heat means it will take some extra hours after your arrival time that it is fully heated. The weather also has a large impact on this. This could be up to 23:00 at night on check in day. The maximum temperature the hot tub reaches is 38 degrees and will automatically stay at this level once reached (we/ you will not able able to change this temperature). Unfortunately we can not control the time it takes to heat up to speed this up. We are afraid that also children under 5 years old are not allowed in the hot tub.
