Kitchen & Reception rooms:
The kitchen at Swift Manor is a real treat, boasting all the modern features one might need. The slick, bamboo countertops and white cupboards give this room a very different feeling from the rest of the house. Those with a love for good design will appreciate the beautiful, baby-blue Smeg kettle, and the beautiful copper lamps hanging over the kitchen island. A set of folding doors opens the kitchen up to the garden, which is wonderful during the summer.
Moving on to the dining room, we find a stunning, elegant space with a large carpet underfoot which creates a truly homely atmosphere, while an antique cabinet on the opposite side adds to the historic feeling of the space. The dining table itself comfortably seats 12 guests on cushioned wooden chairs. The large, bay window blends the space into its environment with stunning views of the garden, while a collection of landscape paintings line the wall, complimenting the beauty that is the Buckinghamshire countryside outside.
On colder nights, or moments when you simply feel like a little bit of downtime, this house to rent in Buckinghamshire has two options; the snug, and the sitting room. The main sitting room is a sight to behold. The ceiling is ornately painted with visions of nymphs, giving the space a true sense of grandeur. An antique writing desk on one side of the room acts as the perfect place to tackle any work or admin that one might need to manage during your stay. Alternatively, a large, smart TV in the corner transfers the space into a cosy hangout for watching movies with the family. The snug, located at the centre of the house, The Baronial Hall, serves as an additional spot to cosy up with friends or family.
Please note the pool is not heated and is only available for the summer months as it is covered for the winter.

Hambleden is a small town, famous for its chalk streams, and for being the filming location for Chitty Chitty bang bang, 101 Dalmatians and more. The village is located in Located in the Chitren Valley, and offers many stunning countryside walks and cycle routes, as it is located in. Guests looking for a quiet adventure into town will enjoy Hambleden. If you’re looking for something a little bigger, Henley-on-Thames is a short drive form Swift Manor and features a wealth of pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and boutique stores. Famous for the Royal Regatta, which is held each year on the River Thames, Henley-on-Thames is a particularly lovely place to visit. With countryside walks available in all directions, it is possible as well to walk into the nearby towns and villages, or take a bus from the bus stop close to the house, which will take you to either Henley-on-Thames or Hambleden.
