Reception rooms and kitchen: 

The kitchen and dining room blend seamlessly with the exquisite Oxfordshire countryside outside. With the doors fully open, the space extends onto the patio, creating an ideal space for entertaining in the summer months. During colder seasons, the panels of glass allow for breathtaking views from the warmth inside. The kitchen itself comes equipped with everything you could need, including a dishwasher to speed up the cleaning process, because who wants to wash dishes on holiday? 

The dining room table, which lies parallel to the kitchen island, is a wonderful spot to connect over a meal with your fellow guests. Those who enjoy cooking will feel right at home in this bright, functional kitchen. Alternatively, Party Houses work in collaboration with a number of caterers who can be brought in with prior arrangements. 

When it comes to downtime, you’re spoilt for choice in this Henley-on-Thames accommodation. Both of the sitting rooms in this gorgeous house provide ample seating, as well as the option of watching a movie or catching the big game. The two living areas can come in handy for groups traveling with children, as the kids can watch a movie together while the adults have dinner or catch up in the dining room or second living area. 

Bedrooms:

When bedtime finally rolls around, you’re in for a real treat. Dove Cottage has a total of 6 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 16 guests. Each of the bedrooms is tastefully styled, featuring unique furniture pieces, pot plants and artworks, as well as luscious, carpeted floors. The first bedroom is set on the ground floor, with a large bay window and a sofa. In this room, you’ll find a king-size bed and a dressing table. Moving upstairs, we find the first-floor landing, off which we find the remaining 5 bedrooms. 

The second bedroom features two single beds, a sofa, a dressing table with a mirror and a hanging rail, as well as a shared lamp between the two beds. The third bedroom overlooks the garden and surrounding countryside. Equipped with a dressing table, a super king-size bed and a smart TV, this is a lovely room to spend some time alone in. In addition to an ensuite bathroom, containing a bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet and twin wash basin, this room has two comfortable armchairs. This room would be well suited to a couple who would like a little bit of privacy. 

The fourth bedroom comes with a king-sized bed, a built-in wardrobe and a dressing table. This room would also be suitable for couples, or private individuals who like a lot of space. Bedroom 5, on the other hand, is an ideal room for children. Featuring two single beds, a smart TV, a dressing table and a walk-in wardrobe, both the fifth bedroom would work well for children. This room also has an ensuite bathroom, with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. Finally, the sixth bedroom is a large room with views of the expansive gardens. This room features a super king bed, a built-in wardrobe, and a dressing table. There is also two more single beds available in the house to sleep a total of 16 guests.

There is a world of activities to be had in the areas surrounding this Oxfordshire accommodation. Dove Cottage is situated on the outskirts of Henley-on-Thames, a fantastic market town that is brimming with interesting and exciting things to see. Take some to explore the town and visit the local stores and cafes. In addition to exploring Henley-on-Thames, there are a few other nearby attractions that might pique your interest. Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery and Grey’s Court are two particularly interesting locations to visit nearby. Those who enjoy golf might enjoy a round at the Henley-on-Thames golf course. Alternatively, the beautiful Thames Path, a tarred footpath that stretches along the River Thames, is also perfect for walking or riding bicycles. For days when you don’t feel like venturing out, the patio area with outdoor seating with a wonderful space to enjoy the surroundings. The lawn area serves as an excellent play-area for children, while the hot tub creates an unbeatable spot to relax.
