If you’re looking for holiday lettings in Suffolk for a family gathering or celebration, St Edmunds House is perfect. Access the home through the courtyard. You will first reach the bedrooms and through a double-width landing and down a short flight of stairs you will reach double doors with four large conservation skylights above in front of you. Through these doors, you will access the fantastic open-plan living/dining space. It is spacious with luxurious sofas, one of which, is a sofa bed. 8 guests can easily be accommodated. There is also a wood burner to keep you toasty during the colder months. From here you can access your very own private patio area.
The open-plan kitchen/dining area is great to entertain friends and family. The kitchen is fully-equipped and comes with breathtaking views of the pretty walled garden and a secure play area for toddlers.
Bedrooms

Local Area
For wine lovers, Wyken Vineyards is a little more than a mile away and offer a lovely shop where you can buy some Wyken wine and explore other products. Visit the Saturday farmers market and buy some local produce. If you’re traveling with little ones, they will fall in love with the surrounding meadows. If you’re lucky you will also bump into some animals like llamas. Additionally, this estate is home to The Leaping Hare restaurant which offers delicious food as it was awarded a Michelin ‘Bib Gourmand’ in January 2008 and 2009.
Visit the town Bury St Edmunds, which is within a 15-minute drive. You can have a stroll through the Abbey Gardens, feed ducks in the playground or take a tour of the Greene King Brewery for some local beer. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can visit the market square. If you’re in the mood to sit down and relax, go to The Lounge on Hatter St for a quick coffee or one of the many restaurants on Abbeygate St a bigger meal.
Lavenham, well-reputed as a medieval wool town is within a 45-minute drive and is worth a visit. Here you can visit a big church tower and over 300 listed buildings.
