There is a Saturday farmers market where you can buy some local produce. Kids will love the meadows as there are animals like llamas as well as a woodland walk. Furthermore, on this estate is The Leaping Hare restaurant, which was awarded a Michelin ‘Bib Gourmand’ in January 2008 and 2009.

Within a 15-minute drive is Bury St Edmunds, where you can walk through the Abbey Gardens which also feature remains of the 11th century Abbey. Additionally, there is a lovely playground and plenty of ducks to feed which the children will love! Beer lovers can opt for a tour of the Greene King Brewery, or you can explore the market square on Wednesdays or Saturdays. Visit The Lounge on Hatter St for a quick coffee or visit one of the many restaurants on Abbeygate St for a more hearty meal.

Just within a 45-minute drive is Lavenham, which is well-known for its wealth as a medieval wool town. It features a big church tower and over 300 listed buildings. Just a walk through the town would be a treat. The food at The Great House is worth trying out!
