The hosts Peter and Emma where very nice and made our stay feel more welcomed, it was a great escape for our families and the venue is excellent, especially for our little kids that enjoyed it much!

We booked the venue in January to getaway from the winter blues and it was really a perfect getaway. The cottage is very cozy and even more with the burning wood stove and heated indoor pool and hot tub was great for the kids, and the walks on the state where wonderful!

Our time here was super chill, and the welcome bottle of champagne was a fantastic kickoff to our holiday. The Garden House spot was spotless and had all the stuff we needed. We picked it 'cause it's got cool stuff for any weather – indoor pool, sauna, and a hot tub with killer views. So chill and quiet.
The tennis court was in good shape, and the whole place was well-kept. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area was cozy, especially when it rained. Bedrooms had comfy beds, nice warm bathrooms, and big fluffy towels. They even threw in some fancy toiletries. Overall, we'd totally recommend it!

Our extended stay over the long bank holiday weekend in May was thoroughly delightful. The accommodation surpassed expectations—immaculately clean, generously spacious, and tastefully appointed, all set against the backdrop of a breath taking environment adorned with abundant bluebells and orchids along the roadside. The meticulous planning evident in the accommodation's layout reflects a high level of skill and experience, devoted to ensuring every aspect of our stay was pleasurable. From pre-arrival communication to departure preparations, the service was exemplary. Our group relished the wealth of on-site facilities, with a special mention for the swimming pool, sauna, and the hot tub that provided enchanting views of the Devon countryside. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend, and we eagerly anticipate a return to further explore this captivating and scenic part of the country. It's worth noting that, when traveling by vehicle around South Devon, allocating extra time is advisable due to the predominance of single-track roads with passing places, often accompanied by blind hills and bends.
