Kitchen & reception rooms:

One of the most noteworthy features of this space is its private bar downstairs. Prior to Covid, the building served as a local pub and live music venue. There is ample space for entertaining at the bar, which hosted many events over its years as a functioning pub. In 2023, the entire building was extensively renovated. It offers all the modern facilities you could need, whilst still embracing its original historic features. The bar makes this place a really good option for birthdays or hen and stag parties.

Each apartment also comes with a small living room and equipped kitchen, with one offering a larger living room and outdoor patio with a BBQ. The configuration of the space makes it possible to frequently change things up. You could take turns hosting meals in the various apartments, or come together for a pot-luck in the pub after a grand cook-off in each of your kitchens. In the moments when nobody feels like getting their hands dirty, the central location of Postcard Place makes it extremely easy for guests to explore the many pubs and restaurants of the surrounding area. 

Bedrooms:

Postcard Place has a total of 4 bedrooms, divided between 3 apartments. Each apartment has a kitchen, dining and living area. Two apartments feature one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeper couch in the living room area. The third apartment features a larger kitchen and living area, with two bedrooms, one featuring a double bed, and the other with a bunk bed with a double below. The larger apartment is located on the first floor and features a terrace leading off from the kitchen. This apartment offers a separate kitchen, while the other 2 feature an open-plan kitchen and living area. The apartments are arranged as follows: 

Apartment 1: 2 bedrooms (2x double beds, 1x single bed) & 1x sleeper couch - sleeps 3-7

Apartment 2: 1 bedroom (1x double bed) & 1x sleeper couch - sleeps 2-4

Apartment 3: 1 bedroom (1x double bed) & 1x sleeper couch - sleeps 2-4

Local area:

Postcard Place is conveniently located close to the North Yorkshire Moors, the historic walled city of York, Dalby Forest, Scarborough, and Whitby. Some nearby attractions include The Steam Railway, Flamingo Land and Eden Camp. This unbeatable group accommodation also offers easy access to two beaches, as well as 8,000 acres of forests and woodlands to explore. Additionally, this North Yorkshire accommodation is located at the heart of Pickering, providing easy access to a wealth of bars, shops and restaurants. There is a small, grassy courtyard opposite the house, and a bar and catering restaurant a short way down the road. Guests can enjoy drinks in their own private bar on the ground floor of the accommodation, where it is possible to arrange caterers as well. If there's one thing that's certain about Posatcard Place, is that you won't be short on things to do.
