Mermaid's Retreat for 14 guests

Kitchen & reception rooms:

Mermaid's Retreat is designed with the stunning surrounding area in mind, placing all communal areas on the first floor to provide uninterrupted views of the bay. The bright, open-plan kitchen opens up to a stunning dining area that looks out over the sea. The kitchen and dining area lead out onto a shared balcony with a BBQ and ample outdoor furniture for al-fresco dining on warmer days. 

The adjoining living room offers cosy, sink-in sofas, with a log burner for keeping toasty on colder evenings. The living room also opens onto the terrace, which stretches across from the dining room to the end of the living room. Large sliding doors make it possible to open the space up beautifully, allowing fresh sea air to pour into the house. 

Downstairs, a lower terrace offers a number of hanging chairs and a table tennis table. There is also a tennis court, shared with the neighbouring property, as well as a hot tub and outside shower.  

Bedrooms:

Mermaid's Retreat offers a total of 8 bedrooms, many of which offer zip & link beds that can be arranged as either two singles or a super-king bed. The bedrooms are located on the ground and second floor, with communal areas located in between, on the first floor. There is a bedroom with bunk beds that is particularly fun for young children. The bedrooms are arranged as follows:

Ground floor:

• Bedroom 1 – bunk beds
• Bedroom 2 – 1 x large super king bed (zip and link)
• Bedroom 3 – 1 x king bed with ensuite
• Bedroom 4 – 1 x large super king bed (zip and link) with ensuite
• Bedroom 5 – 1 x large super king bed (zip and link) with ensuite
• Bedroom 6 – 1 x king bed with ensuite

Second floor:

• Bedroom 7 – 1 x super king bed (zip and link) with ensuite 
• Bedroom 8 – 1 x super king bed (zip and link) with ensuite 

Local area: 

Mermaid's Retreat, being located on the Isle of Anglesey, is a fantastic option if you happen to be looking for beach accommodation in Wales. The island is blanketed with beautiful walking, hiking and cycling routes, of varying difficulty. In fact, it is even possible to walk the entire coast of the island on the Isle of Anglesey coastal path, which covers a total of roughly 125 miles. If that sounds a little daunting, fear not. Mermaid's Retreat is designed to ensure maximum comfort, rest, and relaxation. Between the tennis court, lawns and table tennis table, you won't be short on nearby entertainment. This is a great thing to consider for families travelling with children, who can play in the garden under supervision while the grown-ups have an opportunity to relax. The hot tub and picturesque views provide an opportunity to truly unwind and disconnect, and the close proximity to the sea makes it the ideal beach holiday destination.
