Kitchen & reception rooms:

Kington Lodge is equipped with a grand total of 5 kitchens, offering incredible flexibility when it comes to dining and meal prep. The first and biggest of the kitchens features a double range cooker and a large American-style fridge. Here, you’ll find everything you could need to whip up delicious meals. The second kitchen, also fully equipped, is located in the Discourse banqueting room - an open-plan sitting and dining room. It is possible for this room to be rearranged, on request, for 40 guests to dine together. This is greatly appealing for bigger parties who hope to enjoy meals with the whole group present. 

There is also a small dining room, located between bedrooms 5 and 6, which is great as a break-off area for corporate guests, or a place to feed the little ones before bedtime, away from the action of the rest of the party. It is also worth keeping in mind that all of the neighbouring properties feature kitchens and reception rooms of their own, which can be immensely beneficial for larger groups, no matter the occasion.

Beyond its many kitchen areas, Kington Lodge features some lovely communal spaces. The house is equipped with a total of 5 leisure rooms for guests to enjoy. There are 2 sitting rooms, each featuring 3 comfortable sofas, where guests can cosy up around the fireplace, watch a movie, or enjoy some board games together. There is also an open plan sitting and dining room with a round table and a big flat-screen TV, equipped for corporate conferences (Wi-Fi, OHP & presentation screen).

Entertainment:

The estate itself boasts an incredible collection of amenities designed to keep guests entertained throughout their stay. Guests can enjoy the expansive grounds, perfect for exploring or simply relaxing outdoors. The heated swimming pool (available daily from 12 PM to sunset between May and September) offers the perfect spot to unwind. For those seeking relaxation, the hot tub and sauna area provide a peaceful retreat.

For active guests, there is a squash court for some friendly competition.   If you’re seeking an even more luxurious stay, the grounds are well-suited for outdoor activities, such as yoga or team-building exercises, making the space perfect for any kind of event or social gathering.

Bedrooms:

Kington Lodge is equipped with 8 spacious and uniquely styled bedrooms, sleeping 16 guests in total. For larger groups, there are 7 full-sized single beds that can be added to the equating bedrooms on request, increasing capacity to 23 guests. All of the bedrooms are equipped with Egyptian cotton linens and white, fluffy towels and hand towels.  Those who require more space have the option of renting the neighbouring properties (The Forge, Gardener’s Cottage, and The Retreat), which are all located around a central courtyard.  This brings the total capacity up to 39. Additionally, guests can include Field Cottage, which is located just a few minutes away and sleeps a further 4 guests, increasing the maximum capacity to 43 guests. The bedrooms are arranged as follows:

Kington Lodge (sleeps 16-23):

• Bedroom 1: 1 x double bed & 2 x beds on a mezzanine, (sleeps 4)
• Bedroom 2: 1 x double bed & 1 x single bed on a mezzanine, with ensuite bathroom (sleeps 3)
• Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds with ensuite bathroom (sleeps 2)
• Bedroom 4: 1 x king-size bed with a sofa and a bath (sleeps 2)
• Bedroom 5: 1 x queen-size OR 2 x single beds, with ensuite bathroom (sleeps 2)
• Bedroom 6: 1 x double bed & 1 x single bed with ensuite bathroom (sleeps 3)
• Bedroom 7: 1 x four-poster double bed & 1 x single bed (on a mezzanine), with ensuite bathroom (sleeps 3)
• Bedroom 8: 1 x double bed & 2 x singles  (on mezzanine) with ensuite bathroom (sleeps 4)

The Forge (sleeps 4):

• Bedroom 1: 1 x super-king-size bed, ensuite bathroom
• Bedroom 2:  king-size built-in bed on the mezzanine floor above kitchen, downstairs shower room and toilet

Gardeners Cottage (sleeps 6):

• Bedroom 1: 1 x king-sized bed with shared family bathroom
• Bedroom 2: 1 x king-sized bed with shared family bathroom
• Bedroom 3: twin bedded room with shared family bathroom

The Retreat (sleeps 5/6)

• Bedroom 1: 1 x day bed & pull-out trundle bed (suitable for children and located on the ground floor)
• Bedroom 2: 1 x double bed OR 2 x single beds with ensuite shower
• Bedroom 3: 1 x double bed OR 2 x single beds with shared family bathroom

Field Cottage (sleeps 4) - keep in mind that Field Cottage is slightly further away, but still easily accessible:

• Bedroom 2: 2 x single beds
