Nestled on the banks of the river Clyde, Thistle House is a deceptively bright, spacious sea front spa venue sleeping up to 14 guests.

Originally the coach house for the adjacent Archbishops house (Heather House), then a convent for over a century, it's a great mix of modern and quirky Victorian.

Ease into the day by watching the sea and marine life from the comfort of your bedroom or from the ground floor sunroom. The 5 bright bedrooms in a palette of mauve, blues, pinks and silver with white linens provide a soothing environment for restful sleep.  Across the 4 modern bathrooms, two have big deep bathtubs, allowing for lengthy soaks in beautiful essential oil blends.

Make the most of the dedicated massage room where spa treatments can take place in your pyjamas. Warm up and unwind in the infra-red sauna and let the hot tub bubbles soothe away any aches and pains in the fairly lit covered hot tub, a secluded spot to the rear of the house. After a nice seaside walk to blow away the cobwebs, or a spa treatment, curl up in the lounge together and watch at movie in the huge 85 inch smart TV.   

For dining, you’re all sorted with 2 ovens, a microwave, a larder fridge and freezer as well as a wine fridge. The open-plan lounge and kitchen provides a great set-up for making cocktails. A few steps take you to a stunning dining room for 14, with plush grey velvet chairs that overlook the woodland rear garden area.  If you don’t want to lift a culinary finger, great value spa and catering packages allow a customised blend of self-catered/pampered with prices you won’t have to sell a kidney for to enjoy.

• Master bedroom (Sleeps up to 2): Stylish and modern, this room comes with a super king bed and a wall-mounted TV. Wake up to views of the glistening sea while sipping your morning coffee and take full advantage of your very own en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating, a large roll-top bath, and a walk-in shower.
• Bedroom 2 (Sleeps up to 4): Light and airy, this room comes with a double bed and a set of bunks. It also leads to a dressing room with mirrored wardrobes.
• Bedroom 3 (Sleeps up to 2): Comes with a black and silver four-poster Venetian double bed.
• Bedroom 4 (Sleeps up to 2): Featuring a beautiful ornate four-poster white and gold Venetian double bed, this room is bright and comes with sea views.
• Bedroom 5 (Sleeps up to 4): This bedroom is situated on the ground floor of this hen Party House in Skelmorlie. Comes with a lovely shower room right opposite. It comes with a double bed and a single with a nautical style and blackout blinds.

Spa Facilities

This unique holiday accommodation in Scotland comes with your very own private hot tub with a sauna adjacent. Pop open a bottle of bubbly and relax on the patio terrace while watching the gorgeous sea views. This home also offers  value spa and dining packages that will be provided to you by owners after booking.
