Between the two properties, guests will be spoilt for choice with two fully equipped kitchens, ample outdoor space, dining for all 12 guests, and two spacious living rooms. Each of the houses offer modern, inviting interiors whilst retaining their historic charm. Boasting intricate masonry and exposed sleeper beams, both houses offer a stunning ambience.

In addition to the numerous indoor spaces, guests have access to a stunning courtyard with a hot tub and BBQ for embracing those warmer days. When the weather is less than desirable, guests can make use of the indoor spa area with a hot tub. No matter the occasion or time of year, The Grain Mill is a fantastic spot for an unforgettable getaway.

Bedrooms:

The Grain Mill offers a total of 5 bedrooms between the two houses. Each bedroom boasts its own unique charm, featuring a range of stunning historic features paired with cosy, inviting beds. Some rooms offer original wooden floors, while others boast exposed stone and wooden sleepers. Between the 5 gorgeous rooms, guests are bound to have a great night’s sleep. The bedrooms are arranged as follows:

House 1:

• Bedroom 1: 1 x Kingsize with en-suite
• Bedroom 2: 2 x single beds with own bathroom
• Bedroom 3: 1 x double & 1 x single with en-suite

House 2:

• Bedroom 1: 1x Double bed with en-suite
• Bedroom 2: 1 x King size bedroom & 1x single bed with en-suite

The Grain Mill is well located for all sorts of activities. For starters, there are a number of restaurants nearby that are perfect for enjoying a delicious meal together. There are actually 3 restaurants within walking distance from the house: The Hatch Inn, The Farthings Hotel and Restaurant, and the Canal in. Additionally, Farmers Arms is only 3 miles away. Those who enjoy being outdoors will be delighted to find a number of walking and cycling routes nearby. Between the East Deane Way, The Quantock Hills (an area of natural beauty), the Taunton Cycle Map and The Herepath Trail, guests will have a wealth of routes to explore. Those looking for a fun day out might enjoy a drive to the Jurassic Coast which is 45 minutes away, or perhaps a day exploring the Cheddar Gorge and Caves nearby. Regardless of what you end up doing, you can be sure that a holiday at The Gain Mill will be unforgettable.
