Kitchen & reception rooms:

Springfield Farmhouse offers an extensive kitchen, with ample counter and storage space, appliances, and a large aga stove for whipping up delicious meals. The kitchen has a large, central island and a dishwasher, making both preparing meals and washing up a breeze. The space has a lovely farmhouse feeling to it, with wooden cabinets and slate floors. When food is ready, guests can gather in the cosy dining room, with a toasty log burner and a piano for those who are musically inclined. Additionally, there is a second, smaller dining room in the annexe, with space for 6 guests.

The sitting room features a lovely assortment of sofas and armchairs and a flat-screen TV for hosting movie nights with your fellow guests. The room has large windows that allow the light to pour in, offering stunning views of the surrounding grounds. There is a second, smaller lounge that serves as a games nook, offering table football, Freeview TV, and an extensive selection of board games.

Bedrooms:

All of the bedrooms offer a cosy and inviting atmosphere and their own unique style. There are 20 beds in total, divided between 9 bedrooms. 

Ground floor:

Second Floor:

• Bedroom 3: 3 single beds and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet

Springfield Farmhouse is located at the foot of the Pentland Hills, a range of hills south of Edinburgh, famous for its many walking and cycling routes. The hills are dotted with reservoirs, which offer homes to many birds and animals. In fact, there is a reservoir a mere 30-minute walk from the house, making this a truly fantastic retreat for bird watchers and nature lovers. Those who prefer a little more action can take advantage of the many activities all within a half-hour drive from the house. The city of Edinburgh offers history and culture as well as restaurants, pubs, and a thriving nightlife. Additionally, the house's central location means that Livingston, Stirling and Glasgow are all accessible within an hour's drive. Springfield Farmhouse is a truly well-located venue, offering a stunning blend of rural tranquillity and easy access to a world of entertainment.
