Reception rooms & kitchen:
Roe Manor boasts two kitchens, two sitting rooms, a magnificent reception room with period furnishings, and a splendid dining room with seating for 21 guests. The first of the two kitchens is referred to as the social kitchen, which features a convenient island with a few bar stools. This kitchen is perfect for preparing smaller, simpler meals, as well as beverages. A large window to outside allows natural light to pour into this space, which can serve as a beautiful breakfast nook. Above the island, 3 unique hanging lights illuminate the space in the evenings. The main kitchen is designed to cater for larger groups, featuring a large gas stove and oven, fridge, and even a pantry. One popular activity around Pembrokeshire is foraging, which can be a wonderful activity to incorporate into your stay. The pantry and storage spaces in this larger kitchen are ideal for storing your locally foraged ingredients.
Moving on to the reception room, we find a cosy yet stunning space, decorated with period furnishings that really reflect the history of the house. The Georgian sash windows provide views of the wonderful gardens, and an old grandfather clock intrigues and entertains young guests, who often seem taken by this feature. The two sitting rooms are perfect places to relax with your fellow guests and connect over friendly conversation or competition at the billiards table. Having two living spaces works particularly well for groups with young children, who can cosy up in the snug to watch a movie in the evening, while the parents enjoy a little bit of time off in the company of friends.
