Kitchen & Function Rooms:

This countryside cottage in the Southwest presents a range of inside and outdoor function rooms which allow guests to switch off from the outside world. Looking for a way to wind down? Take advantage of the massage chair in the spa space, or the accommodation’s own infra-red sauna cabin and steam sauna cabin… Those looking to celebrate have full access to the on-site cocktail bar & book, equipped with the necessary cocktail-making utensils; perfect for partying as well as simply catching up with loved ones.

Malthouse Cottage is great for hosting dinner parties, with multiple kitchens, fitted with commercial cookers, 3 dishwashers, patisserie pastry mixer, and catering facilities for 40+ guests, this is the perfect place to come together and dine as a family; the chefs of the party will think they’re dreaming…

Outdoors, guests will find a courtyard central to soaking in the sun. Whilst the sausages are sizzling on the barbecue and the drinks are flowing, the children can entertain themselves in the private play park, fitted with a sunken trampoline, and sand pit, swing collection, and slide. Both in and outdoor, this large group accommodation for 34 guests (+ 6 next door) thrives to ensure that residents are always amused.

Bedrooms:

Malthouse Cottage is home to 10 unique bedrooms, located over different venue quarters and all on upper and lower stores of the large group accommodation, with the option of hiring a further 4 bedrooms downstairs for larger groups of up to 34 plus a further 3 bedrooms in the cottage next door for groups of up to 40.

Upper Store:

Four Poster Room: A double-sized four poster bed, best for those that prefer a little more privacy. Homes an en-suite bathroom and a bathtub in the bedroom- one of the more romantic settings.

The Chinese Room: a double room with an additional single bed and cot. Equipped with an en-suite bathroom and ample for families.

The Japanese Room: Fitted with a double and single sleigh bed combination, alongside a sofa bed- this bedroom is perfect for the more social beings in the party. There is shared use of the family shower room and ‘bette’ bathroom.

White Room: A bunk room room with an additional single bed, for 3. Access to the ‘Butterfly Room’ with access to the ‘bette’ bathroom and family shower room.

Nell Nile Bunk Room: A bunk-bed room for 2, leading to the ‘Butterfly Room’ with access to the family shower room and ‘bette’ bathroom.

Butterfly Room: Double room with an additional single bed, sleeps 3 and equipped with a hand basin. Use of the family shower room and 'bette' bathroom.

Malt House:

Rinky Dink Pink: A double bunkbed (double bottom, single top), ample for 2 guests, a couple or 2 singles. Shared use of spa showers with a WC next door.

Sunshine Yellow: A double bunkbed (double bottom, single top), suited to 2 guests, a couple or 2 singles. Shared use of the spa showers with a WC next door.

Arts and Crafts: A double bedroom accompanied by an en-suite bathroom; perfect for those looking for privacy.

Doves & Swans: A bunkbed room (double on the bottom) with access to the family bathroom next door – sleeps 2.

Jovial Colliers:

Woodland Room: A double bedroom with an additional king-sized sofa bed, with use of the black bathroom or 'bette' bathrooms upstairs.

Blue Room: A twin bedroom, perfect for the youngsters, with use of the black bathroom.

Rose Double: Double bedroom with use of the black bathroom.

Garden Bunk: A bunkbed bedroom with use of the black bathroom.

The Cottage Next Door:

Malthouse Cottage additionally hosts a secondary ‘cottage next door’, capable of hosting an additional 6 guests.

Birds of Paradise: A double bedroom with an additional bunkbed, ample for families; sleeos 4. Access to the ‘white’ bathroom.

Vintage Rose: A double bedroom with an additional cabin bed; sleeps 3. Access to the ‘white’ bathroom.

Blue Denim: Sleeps 2 guests, on a sofa bed in the second sitting room, useful is 3 couples want to hire the small cottage - shared access to the ‘white’ bathroom.

From theme parks such as "Puzzlewood" and cave tours at "Clearwell caves”, to an array of parks, nature spots, and wildlife viewpoints, Malthouse Cottage is surrounded by entertainment for everybody.
