Function Rooms and Kitchen:

The ex 4-star hotel welcomes you to snuggle into one of the several cosy couches found in the large lounge; equipped with a grand piano it is therefore perfect for all events. The large and luxurious bay windows offer spectacular sea views and invite natural lighting onto the room. The venue offers an alternative lounge-dining room and a neat reading nook ready for a reader’s retreat; grab a book and immerse yourself into the storyline whilst appreciating the special seascape.

Island Manor is equipped with 2 separate kitchens. Each kitchen presents a hob, electrical oven, microwave, a fridge, and freezer enabling the chefs of the party to dive in and show off their culinary skills. The decorative dining room welcomes up to 30 individuals ensuring that everyone is involved in the conversation. Whilst dining, guests are welcome to use the bar, which can be stocked with a variety of liquors, spirits, wines, beers, and mixers to make sure that celebrating can continue into the midst of the night, whether for a stag party or a hen party in Scotland.

Bedrooms:

Island Manor comes with 10 spacious bedrooms that welcome a total of 29 guests; 4 of the bedrooms come with sofas capable of being converted into sofa beds. Each bedroom hosts a television and beverage trays; cots are also available for your little ones.

Ground Floor:

MacDonald: This sea view bedroom offers a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle. You can also find a double sofa bed perfect for extra guests.

Marshall:  This bedroom offers a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle. You can also find a double sofa bed perfect for extra guests.

First Floor:

Ferguson: This sea view bedroom offers a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle.

Montgomery: This sea view bedroom offers a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bath & shower. You can also find a double sofa bed perfect for extra guests. Additional seating area at the bay window makes this room extra special.

Buchanan: This bedroom is perfect for the children; a king size bed and a single bed go hand in hand. There’s an ensuite with a shower and bath combination too.

Lauder: Guests are presented with a king size bed and an ensuite fitted with a corner bathtub and shower attachment.

Second Floor:

Hamilton: A sea view double bedroom has an ensuite, fitted with a bath and shower combination.

Kennedy: This sea view bedroom offers a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle. You can also find a double sofa bed perfect for extra guests.

Sutherland: A sea view double bedroom with a bath and shower combination ensuite.

Bedroom 10: This bedroom is perfect for children, fitted with twin beds and a shower cubicle ensuite bathroom.

Island Manor is home to a variety of large patios and a private garden with a BBQ, perfect for a celebration or family get together in the summer’s heat; guests can enjoy a private hot tub with the most amazing views of The Clyde. Guests can enjoy fishing for rainbow trout at the popular angler spot Loch Fad, only 3 miles away. The island of Bute is a historical island home to a variety of ancient chapels, forts, gothic mansions, and castles; perfect for walkers and cyclists to view after enjoying the continuous countryside and rolling hills. Don’t fancy walking or cycling? The island offers local horse riding along the beautiful beach enabling you to experience first-hand the salty breeze and overlapping waves.

If you fancy escaping the island for a family day out then the famous city of Glasgow is just a 45min drive and home to a variety of restaurants, parks, museums, distilleries, theatres and more.
