Kitchen & Reception Rooms: 

With two cottages located on the property, you'll be spoilt for choice between two kitchens, living areas, and dining areas. The main house offers a large, open-plan kitchen, connecting to both the dining room and sitting room. The kitchen and sitting rooms are divided by a table football area. There is a kitchen window that looks through to the dining room, a space featuring a glass wall that opens up entirely to the patio outside. This particular area is big enough to accommodate all 16 guests and is wonderful for enjoying delicious meals together. 

The communal areas in the second cottage (while sharing a similar open-plan layout) are a little more compact, making them ideal for more intimate moments. This cottage features a dining table for 6 guests, which leads to two plush sofas and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to the patio outside. The second cottage is equipped with a cosy snug, ideal for enjoying movie nights together. 

Bedrooms:

The whole of Hollybrook House has been renovated to the highest standard. Its high-quality fabrics and furnishings include Farrow and Ball, Laura Ashley, Sanderson, Voyage and Christian Lacroix. Naturally, all of the bedrooms have been beautifully crafted to facilitate a good night's sleep. Pair this with the tranquil countryside location, and you can rest assured that you'll wake up feeling refreshed and ready for each new day.

Local Area

Hollybrook House is located a mere 20-minute drive from the market town of Shrewsbury. The town boasts over 660 listed buildings and is thought to be the birthplace of Charles Darwin. Those interested in history can visit the Darwin statue, located just outside the Shrewsbury Library. The area boasts a number of intriguing attractions. Attingham Park is a fabulous place to visit with children, featuring a natural play area and over 200 acres of parkland to explore. If you're interested in history, you might enjoy a trip to Wroxeter, which was the fourth largest city in Roman Britain. Those who like to simply relax can take advantage of the outdoor spaces provided at Hollybrook House, taking some to soak in the hot tub and cast a line on the River Severn. No matter how you decide to spend your holiday, you can rest assured that Hollybrook House will be the perfect home away from home.
