Really clean and tidy with lots of space. We were a group of 10 and every one of us would like to go back. We loved the outside spaces especially the fire pit and hot tub. There was also plenty of parking space. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Gin Lodge was fantastic and met all of our needs. There was a separate log cabin which was great. It was warm, inviting, and big enough to accommodate all the members of our group. We played drinking games, watched live sports on the sky box. We also made full use of the hot tub. It had quiet surroundings despite the fact that you're only a few minutes from the centre of Stamford bridge. You will also only be 20 minutes from the centre of York. I think this property is most suited for hens/stags.

Photos don't do Gin Lodge any justice. I loved both the house and the barn and it was perfect for our group! It was well heated and cosy everywhere! Fully recommend

Outstanding service from booking to the end. Opting for a more mature stag weekend, we booked The Gin Lodge for our group of ten, and it was ideal. The bar provided a perfect evening setting with stocked fridges, football on TV, a fireplace, a pool table (a bit worn but still enjoyable), and a dartboard. The following day, we had fun with on-site footgolf before heading into York for the evening. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommended for those seeking a laid-back stag weekend.

We had a great stay at Gin Lodge. The owner was very helpful, and the property was perfect for our group of 11. It was peaceful and private, yet close to a lovely village with great pubs. The house had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and excellent amenities. The bar room was a hit, and the hot tub was ready upon arrival. We’d definitely stay again!

We stayed at Gin Lodge for a hen do with 13 people, and it was perfect. The games room was a great spot for us all to socialise. Everything was as described, and Caroline was incredibly helpful with any questions I had leading up to our stay.

Great place and great facilities the only thing to be aware is there are no fast food deliveries so I would say do a food shop on your way over to the house.

Our group had an amazing time staying here with a group of friends. Lots of amenities such as darts, pool and a hot tub. Only a 30 minute drive from York Centre which we visited on one of the days.
