In fact, its rustic stone walls were, once upon a time, the place where William Wordsworth went to school. With centuries of history, this one-of-a-kind accommodation offers a seamless blend of rich history and modern comforts. Chandelier Hall sleeps a total of 20 guests between 7 bedrooms and offers an unbelievable list of features and facilities. This intriguing group accommodation features all sorts of unexpected extras, including a round dining table, a games room, a spa area with a hot tub, and various beautifully styled sitting areas throughout the house. Chandelier Hall is located in the market town of Cockermouth, which is famous for its festivals and events. This venue is well suited to all manner of occasions and works particularly well for hen and stag do's thanks to the many amenities on offer at the house, as well as its easy access to the town of Cockermouth and all the activities it has to offer. Kitchen & Reception Rooms:
The kitchen boasts deep, dark, forest-green cabinets, distinctive checkered floors, and a gorgeous black aga stove. It is equipped with everything you could need to prepare a delicious meal and also features a little ledge with two bar stools for fellow guests to keep the chef company. This room boasts beautiful exposed brick that flaunts the incredible history of the building and seamlessly blends with the more modern aesthetics of the room.
The communal spaces in Chandelier Hall are truly magnificent. This stunning, refurbished church hall boasts an incredible combination of gorgeous historical features, a wealth of space, and all the modern luxuries your heart could desire. The expansive hall offers a wonderful collection of communal spaces, including a cinema nook with a large TV and L-shaped sofa, a pool table, a free-standing bar, and a large, round dining table with seating for 18 guests. This substantial space also features a collection of marvellous chandeliers, which give it a truly grand, magnificent ambience.
Moving downstairs, we find the crypt, another stunningly converted space. Featuring an indulgent 8-seater sunken spa hot tub, a Smart TV with a sound system and mood lighting to enhance the experience, and an authentic wooden sauna. The crypt offers a unique opportunity to relax in the hot tub while watching a movie or listening to music with your fellow guests.

Chandelier Hall is located at the heart of Cockermouth, with all sorts of things to do nearby. For starters, Cockermouth is a vibrant market town, which is home to a wealth of restaurants, boutique shops, and pubs. Each year, the town celebrates Cockermouth LIVE, a festival in which the whole town celebrates music and artistic talent from Cockermouth and other nearby towns. Cockermouth LIVE generally takes place between June and July. There is a distillery nearby where guests can book tours to learn about the production of gin, whiskey and vodka. Those who prefer the great outdoors might enjoy a day of kayaking or canoeing with Low Wood Watersports Centre, or a moment of meditation in the nearby Whinlatter Forest, with views across Derwentwater, Keswick, and Bassenthwaite Lake.
