This is one of our holiday homes in Cumbria to rent with plenty of entertainment facilities. There is a lovely games room as well as an outdoor games field of 5 acres. Furthermore, there is a 8 seater hot tub under a glazed gazebo on the terrace with 360 fell views. Your pets are also welcome at this property for a charge of £16 per dog.

Everything is there, just as you need it; we had the best night's sleep and fell asleep listening to the owls. Lovely welcoming family too. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Zed Had a great boys weekend there. Quiet, out of the way with great facilities. The hot tub is wonderful after long days Gyhll scrambling and the owners are lovely. There's loads of storage and kitchen facilities, drying room and ablutions. Duvets are provided which was a godsend when it came to packing as I didn't need a doss bag. Local facilities are a short walk down the lane but take a torch if you're coming back late as the lane is a little uneven. Loads of parking too, which was helpful as our group came from the four corners in multiple vehicles. All in all a great place to stay for groups whether getting yourself in the hills or chillin' together in one place.

The barn was impeccably clean, as always, and generously stocked with towels, bedding, glasses, plates, and cutlery aplenty! The hot tub is always a favourite. Situated just out of town, it offers a peaceful setting without worrying about noise traveling. Yet, it's close enough to walk into town if you happen to forget something. Numerous walks are accessible right from the doorstep. It has been our favourite gathering place with friends for several years. I cannot recommend it more highly.
