For starters, this Oxfordshire holiday cottage is just over an hour out of London, making it perfect both for groups who live in London and want to get out of town, as well as those who live elsewhere and would like a base from which to visit the city. Bluebird Manor boasts a range of enticing features, including a games room, a heated swimming pool (open from April to October), a gym, and ample outdoor space. While this fantastic venue is family-friendly, it is important to be aware that the swimming pool is not fenced off. Groups travelling with young children who have not yet learnt to swim will need to take this into consideration. Older children will have the time of their lives, playing Marco Polo in the swimming pool and honing their table tennis skills in the games room.

Kitchen & reception rooms:

Because Bluebird Manor is divided into an annexe and main house, it offers kitchens and communal areas in both. In order to offer concise information about the various spaces, we have divided this section accordingly:

Main house: The main house consists of an open-plan kitchen and dining room, which extends into a bright, gorgeous orangery. This kitchen comes with a gas oven and an electric oven, a 5-plate gas stove, a dishwasher, and all your usual kitchen appliances. The dining table has space for 10 guests, while 4 bar stools at the kitchen island make it possible to seat everyone in the same room during meal times. The main house has a cosy sitting room with a log burner and wall-mounted TV, which is perfect for watching movies on chilly nights. The orangery and reception room serve as two more beautiful places to enjoy a cup of tea and a conversation with your fellow guests. All of the spaces feature characterful, attractive furniture that gives the space a soft, appealing aesthetic.

Annexe: The annexe shares a space with the games room, garage and gym, 3 bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and sitting room. The annexe kitchen features a 3-plate electric stove with an oven and all your usual appliances. The kitchen forms the first space in a long, multi-purpose space, which leads from the kitchen area to a 6-seater dining table, and eventually a sitting area with a sofa and 3 armchairs. The room ends in a set of glass doors and windows, which look out over the swimming pool and gardens.

Bedrooms:

All of the bedrooms in this beautiful Oxfordshire holiday cottage are uniquely styled and simply stunning. The bedrooms follow a soft and neutral colour palette, with bursts of colour in each room that gives each room its own independent ambience. There are a total of 7 bedrooms, with 3 in the annexe and 4 in the main house. The bedrooms are arranged as follows:

Main house:

Bedroom 1: 1 x super-king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 2: 1 x king-sized bed with private bathroom

Bedroom 3: 1 x single bed with shared bathroom

Bedroom 4: 1 x single bed with shared bathroom

Annexe:

Bedroom 5: 1 x double bed with en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 6: 2 x single beds & 2 x trundle beds with en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 7: 1 x single bed

It is well suited to nature lovers with easy access to the Warburg Nature Reserve. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of walking and cycling routes to explore. Bluebird Manor is also located close to a range of attractions and activities for grownups and children alike. Being relatively close to London, this property is great for groups who would like to take a day trip in the city.
