Step inside this quirky, elegant haven, bursting with character and warmth. Gather around the open fires and you’ll feel right at home. Every reception room features a crackling fire or wood-burning stove, enhancing the inviting ambiance you will also find with plenty of antiques and unique collectables to admire. Imagine entertaining in the grand formal drawing room, hosting a feast in the dramatic dining room that seats 20, or retreating to the 'playroom/TV room' for some games or quiet relaxation. Guests are spoiled for choice for areas of the house to unwind.
The Manor has a large collection of books for guests to enjoy whether that be somewhere in the great outdoors on a Summers day or wrapped up in the snug on a cold Winter night. We are sure you will find your perfect reading nook. You can enjoy the dramatic gothic style red dining room filled with candles for large or formal meals, seating up to 20+ with ease and the drawing room with with antique family portraits and furniture, an open fireplace and picture windows to the west and south.
The sprawling grounds are a summer paradise, complete with dining tables, chairs, recliners, and sunshades. As the evening cools, gather around one of the several fire pits to watch the sun set and the stars emerge. The old stable houses a well-equipped gym and a sauna, with a rowing machine and cross trainer available in the main house for your convenience. Three serene lakes close by offer you the chance to go wild swimming or relax with your loved ones over a picturesque picnic. Note for guests - as with all live animals please remember to treat the swans and geese with care/respect especially if they have chicks or eggs nearby.

Local area:
There are many fields to roam in, ponds for boating or wild swimming. Careful country manners are required everywhere, and all gates must be closed, and dogs kept on a lead when near the animals. If you're wanting to go a little further afield, Scarlet Manor isn't far from Salisbury, which is renowned for its stunning medieval architecture and rich cultural heritage. The city is best known for Salisbury Cathedral, a masterpiece of Early English Gothic architecture, which boasts the tallest church spire in the UK and houses one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta. Salisbury's charming streets are lined with timber-framed buildings, quaint shops, and inviting pubs. The city’s location near the edge of Salisbury Plain makes it a gateway to the world-famous prehistoric site of Stonehenge, just a short drive away.
