This unique Somerset holiday estate sleeps 18-20 guests between 2 buildings, Chinese Elm Retreat and Chinese Elm Cottage. There are a total of 9 bedrooms between the two spaces. Chinese Elm Retreat offers 6 bedrooms and sleeps 12 adults, as well as 7 extra children on sofa beds. Chinese Elm Cottage offers 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests, providing you with a total capacity of up to 18 adults and 7 children.
The estate is located in a rural, secluded spot in Somerset, and offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The estate has a lot to offer, including several meeting rooms, a grand dining table for up to 32 guests and a private garden for hosting summer barbeques.

Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is equipped and ready to go; it includes all cooking tools as well as 2 dishwashers. There is access to the first dining table through the pantry- this seats up to 8 people, whilst the breakfast room contains 2 pine tables for both adults and children and when combined, can comfortably cater for up to 12 people in the kitchen. The large and bright dining area creates a relaxed space for enjoying time with family and friends whilst creating memories over a bottle of your favourite wine. As for the Library dining room, which is the biggest in the house, there is space that comfortably seats up to 22 guests. An extra 2 antique oak dining tables can be added to sit a further 8 each, seating 14 additional people which is perfect for dining together after a long day of exploring the gorgeous countryside the estate lays on.

The estate contains 9 bedrooms across 2 cottages furnished with very comfortable mattresses, soft duvets, light linen sheets and towels to provide the most comfort and relaxation during your stay at Chinese Elm Estate.

The estate’s location and distance from other houses makes it a great venue to enjoy your privacy and relaxation throughout the 22 acres of land that is also pet friendly; your fluffy friends won’t miss a moment of fun. The estate is also equipped with wooden flooring on the ground floor and a double bedroom with wet room access ensuring that the house is access friendly; in fact, it was awarded National Accessibility Lever M1 & M2!

There's plenty to do in the local area! If you're looking for some fun adrenaline during a stag weekend or a team-building event, organise a race with 4x4 or a two-seater dune buggy. You can go climbing, caving, or abseiling while exploring some of the deepest caves in Europe.
Go on a hot balloon ride - groups of up to 8 people can actually take off from Chinese Elm Estate while groups of 12 can take off from a nearby location. You can do the same with a carriage ride and make an entrance like never before!

Booking fee: £65 per booking (non-refundable)
Booking process: 30% deposit while your balance will be due 10 weeks before your stay.
Security deposit: £700 (taken by the owner)
Check-in and check-out: 4pm - 10am
